He was predeceased by: his parents, William James Watkins and Nellie Hudson Watkins; his daughter-in-law Renae Watkins; his son Shane McGrady; his grandson Noah McGrady; and his sisters, Maxine Charlton and Geraldine Evans.
He is survived by: his sons, Kerry Watkins of Paris, Mark Watkins (Carmen) of Paris, Keith Watkins (Sheliah) of Paris, Kacy Watkins (Lisa) of Cottage Grove and Chris McGrady (Staci) of Paris. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; and twenty-two great-grandchildren.
