He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Bennett and Aletress L Bain Bennett. He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Pat" Tyree Bennett; his children, Christi Shankle of Paris and Ty Bennett (Dawn) of Paris; his sisters, Janice O'Neal of Paris, Darnell Stallings of Puryear, TN and Gail VanDyke (Charles) of Paris; and his grandchildren, Allie Jo Shankle, Hilary Bennett, Dallis Lax, Kathryn Bennett, Dalton Bennett, Daisy Bennett and Dixie Bennett. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Ridgeway Funeral Home (201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN 38242). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
