He is survived by: his children, Sonja Byrd (Carter) of Paris, TN, Tammy Bush (Jeff) of Elizabeth City, NC, Dana Goate of Newbern, NC, Cindy Pittman (Carroll) of Stafford, VA, Calvin Newby (Pam) of Virginia Beach, VA, Dwayne Stretch of Jackson, NC, Bobby Wilbanks of Roanoke Rapids, NC and Arthur H. Still, Jr. of Winston, NC. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.
