He was predeceased by: his spouse Ruth Herndon Nolen; and his siblings, Melisha Nolen and Earl Dean Nolen. He is survived by: his daughter Terra Filipiak (Joe) of Clarksville, TN; and his siblings, Alice Spears of Paris, TN, Faye Lowery (Gerald) of Henry, TN, Earlina Matheny of Henry, TN, Gail Clayton (Jeff) of Buchanan, TN, Patricia Williams of Henry, TN, Dale Nolen of Buchanan, TN and Melvin "Nubbin" Nolen (Karen) of Buchanan, TN. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and great nephews.
