He is survived by: his wife Joy Castile Hughes; his children, Christina Mullins (Jeff) and Phillip Hughes; his grandchildren, Bryan Hagenbuch, Phillip Hughes, Jr., Mackenzie Kinnard, Jaxson Hill, Jamie Lynne Smith, Daniel Smith, Christina Craycraft, Emma White, Destiny Jarrett, Abby Hannon, AJ Hagewood, Jacob Hagewood, James Aumiller and Austin Aumiller; and his sisters, Lavern Horn (Randy) and Sherry Grant (Kevin). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
