Fay Elrod Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Fay Elrod of Palmyra, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 17, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Lucy Mae Elrod; and his sisters, Ruth Knowles and Mildred Fletcher. He is survived by: his children, Shannon Elrod (Cindy), Cynthia Elrod, Phyllis Cannon and Mary Jane Elrod; his sisters, Ellen Bridges and Katherine Jackson; and his grandchildren, Robert Cannon, Kevin Cannon (Hope), Mary Beth Jones (Ethan) and Cody Elrod (Kami). He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 10:00 AM. A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Baggett's Chapel Church of God of Prophecy (4950 Logan Rd, Cunningham, TN 37052).
