He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Christine Land Tate; his great-grandparent Nell Land; and his grandparents, Buford Tate and Ruby Henry. He is survived by: his father Richard Tate; his children, Courtney Tate (Bo Rymer), Tori Tate and Scott Tate; his sisters, Kathy Burch and Kim Northcutt (David); his grandchildren, Makinly and Addison; and his nieces and nephews, Josh Sells (Meagen), Felicia Curtis (Jeremiah), Casey Sells (Sarah), Whitney Northcutt (Cody Nunley) and Austin Burch.
