He is survived by: his wife Pauline Shrum Clifton; his siblings, Elizabeth Alder, Bill, Charles and Robert Clifton; his sons, James Clifton (Kathern) of Willoughby, OH and Eugene Clifton (Michelle); and his brother Wendell Clifton (Rachel) of Pikeville, TN. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
