He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joe Wheeler Carrick and Maggie Hazel Nunley; his wife Patsy Lou Smith Carrick; his siblings, Joe Phillip Carrick, Dorothy Lucille Troxler and Doris Bivens; his children, Greta Carrick (Barry Payne), Pattie "Pooch" Doss (Red) and Chris Nunley (Val); his sister Sadie Smartt (George); his grandchildren, Adam "Add" Nunley, Drake, Briegh, Rymer, Zaven "Zavey", Paizlan "Chichi", Haivenly "Bigamoo" and Zaylin "Udden" Doss; and his great grandchildren, Rowan, Cree, Prue Payne and Sebastian Rymer. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to help with funeral expenses.
