He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elmer Pickett and Bertha Irene Johnson Pickett; and his siblings, Mack, Jack Pickett, Dellar Smith, Ralph Pickett (Melissa), Tom Pickett (Thelma), Doris Tidwell, Mary Nunley, Peggy Palmer, Sue Taylor and Debbie Pickett. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
