He is survived by: his siblings, Edna Layman, Betty Atha, Louise White, Janie Phillips, Ralph and Ernest Scott; his wife Linda Hinkle Scott; his son Bobby Scott (Tabitha); his sister Christine Perry (Willard); his grandchildren, DeLisa Scott and Erica Scott; and his great grandchildren, Isaiah, Christopher Scott, Ben, Cason Thomas and Abiel Forsyth. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
