She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, George David Griffith and Emma N. Layne Griffith; her husband John Adam Layman; her sons, J. C. and David Allen Layman; her granddaughter Alicia Layman; her siblings, Howard, Virgil Griffith, Odell Nunley, Letha Griffith, Hester Griffith, Carrie Dick and Corrie Nunley; her daughter Linda Layman of Palmer, Tennessee; her grandchildren, Desiree Lynn Layman, Felicia Layman, Devin Layman, Kendra Layman and Trevor Vandergriff; and her great grandchild Matthew J. C. Allen Totherow. She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
