He is survived by: his wife Carrie Hamilton Caldwell; his mother Joyce Nunley; his siblings, Sonia Markum (Tim) and Paul Smith, Jr. (Christy); his nephews, Ezra and Jaycton; and his niece Skylin. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
