He was predeceased by: his parents, George Upchurch and Wilma Upchurch; his sister Joyce Cook; and his grandparents, Perry, Sylvia Upchurch, James and Lola Upchurch.
He is survived by: his children, Mindy Upchurch and Justin Upchurch; his siblings, Mike York (Brenda), Doug Upchurch (Patricia), Jimmy Upchurch, Janet Patton (Bruce), Darlene Hatfield, Lisa Upchurch and Becky Upchurch (Terry); his nieces and nephews, Charlotte Reagan (Jody), Jennifer Stout (Gerald), Amanda Nicholas (Mike), Cassie Butler (Robert), Tiffany Upchurch, MaKayla Young (Tristen), William Patton (Ester), Shaun York (Rhonda), Dustin Hatfield (Tasha) and Devin Upchurch (Loyal); and his pet Waylon A. He is also survived by great nieces, great nephews, other family and friends.
