He was predeceased by: his parents, William Alec and Ollie Beatrice Sensing Batson; his son Chad Stephen Batson; and his siblings, Dewey Allen Batson and Sharron Gail Batson.
He is survived by: his fiancée Pamela Hulsey Carter of Orlinda; his children, Daniel (Salina Batson), Adam Chase Batson of Springfield, Enoch Alexander Batson of Lake Wylie, SC and Carrie Jo; his son-in-law Mark Blakemore of Spicewood, TX; his siblings, Billy (Jean Batson), Jerry (Vicky Batson), Joe (Jennifer Batson), Mable Gill and Maia Sparti; and his grandchildren, Maddox Batson, Loren Yates, Liza Batson, Makailah Jo Taylor, Kennedy Jane Taylor, Ryleigh Cook, Natalie Covington, Johnny Covington and Alexander Batson.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Austin & Bell Funeral Home (509 N Walnut St, Springfield, TN 37172). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
