He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Knox and Pearl Knox; and his brothers, Willard, Donald and Wallace.
He is survived by: his wife Joanne Carpenter Knox; his children, Wayne Knox (Kim) and Charlotte Humphries (J. R.); his grandchildren, Josh Humphries (Sue), Chad Humphries (Sarah), Justin Knox (Carla) and Shea Weemhoff (Clay); his sister Hazel Thompson; and his cousin Harold Roberson (Carolyn). He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
