It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sylvester Torres of Ooltewah, Tennessee, born in Lake Providence, Louisiana, who passed away on December 16, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Frank Torres, Jr. of Natchitoches and Vicki Morris of Bastrop, Louisiana.; his parents, Frank Torres, Sr. and Maggie Busby Torres; and his daughter-in-law Charlotte Taylor Torres.
He is survived by: his wife Gertrude "Trudy" Torres; his children, Michael Dale Torres (Sharon) of Bastrop and Debra Kay Torres of Ooltewah, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Tricia Renee Torres Dunagan (Frankie) of Hallsville, Michael Brad Torres (Shawna) of Gladewater and Michael Keith Torres of Covington, Louisiana; and his great grandchildren, Dalton Charles Dunagan, Dylon Case Dunagan, Michael Hayden Torres, Noah James Torres and Easton Michael Torres.
