She is survived by: her parents, Rodolfo Carlos and Cristina Carlos of Chattanooga; her husband John Hartly Echerd of Ooltewah, TN; her sisters, Annie Schanley of Chattanooga and Amabelle Ottley (Daniel) of Chattanooga; her stepdaughter Laura Slayton (Brooks); her grandson Griffin; her sisters-in-law, Amy Fowler (Jimmy) and Cynda Holmes (Dale); and her nieces and nephews, Lauren Schanley, Kate Ottley, Nicholas Schanley of Chattanooga, Zachary Ottley of Chattanooga, Sylar Holmes (Katie) of Washington, DC, Ian Fowler and Elisha Fowler (Kelcie).
