She was predeceased by: her son Charles Michael Grimes; her parents, Eugene Wells and Lena Wells; and her siblings, Hollis, Jimmy, Doyle Wells and Rita Williams.
She is survived by: her husband Charles E. Grimes; her daughter Susan Grimes Calecas (John); her grandchildren, Stephanie Fife (Robert) of Chattanooga, Harrison of Chattanooga, Samantha of Chattanooga and Selena Calecas of Chattanooga; and her sisters, Lois Skinner, Ann Brown, Nadine Headrick and Betty Lane. She is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
