He is survived by: his children, Peggy Hays, Rita Ann Schultz, John Robert Goodwin and Paul Joseph Goodwin; and his grandchildren, Inez, A. J. (Kerry), Bobby (Deanna), Matthew, Karen, John and Sean. He is also survived by eleven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
