He was predeceased by: his sister Betty Sue Matthews; and his brother-in-law Ronnie Blevins. He is survived by: his wife Myra Blevins Thomas; his son Shane Thomas; his brother Gerald Thomas of New Hope, TN; his siblings-in-law, Sue Blevins of Jasper, TN and Jimmy D. Blevins of Stevenson, AL; and his nieces and nephews, Heath Blevins, Heather Blevins Collins, Jay Blevins, Tina Rich, Terry Woodfin and Tim Matthews.
