He was predeceased by: his parents, George Cawthon and Frances Cawthon; his wife Bartha Cawthon; and his daughter Deborah Cawthon. He is survived by: his children, Daniel Cawthon (Andrea) and Lisa Wright (Raymond); his grandchildren, Ryan (Kitty), Jonathan Cawthon, Jackson, Ashlyn and Caroline Mattox; his great grandchildren, Rory and Ginny Cawthon; and his siblings, George (Ruth), Jack Cawthon and Sarah Chisenhall. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many special friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home (5401 TN-153, Hixson, TN 37343). A celebration of life was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the North Chapel (5401 TN-153, Hixson, TN 37343).
