He was predeceased by: his parents, James Howard Brackett, Sr. and Dorothy Elloise Brackett. He is survived by: his wife Lemma Brackett; his children, Larena Ward (Josh), Michael Brackett (Catina) and Nicholas Thomas Brackett; and his granddaughters, Emma Grace Ward, AnnaClaire Ward, Rebekah Ward and Mary Eloise Brackett.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home (404 S Moore Rd, East Ridge, TN 37412). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to Bridges of Grace at Grace Baptist Academy and Bible in the Schools of Chattanooga.
