He was predeceased by: his parents, Effie Gooder and R. P. Gooder; his wife Mary; and his brothers, R. P. Gooder, Jr., Everett Goodner and Joe Goodner.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Rudd (Steve), Michael Goodner (Theresa) and Randy Goodner (Brook); his grandchildren, Christy Harrell (David), Jeremy Deitch (Molly), Nathan Goodner (Kati), Jeff Goodner (Christine) and Melanie Rudd; and his great grandchildren, Megan Harrell, Landon Deitch, Peyton Harrell, Colton Deitch and Jackson Deitch. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
