It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gladys Hobbs of Ooltewah, Tennessee, born in Pembroke, North Carolina, who passed away on January 17, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband George B. Hobbs, Jr.; her mother Mattie Hunt Thatcher; and her children, George B. Hobbs, III (Sonny) and Patricia Snipes. She is survived by: her children, Gina Hennen (Mike), Greg Hobbs and Brian Hobbs (Jennie); her grandchildren, Lauren Snipes, Ashlee Hobbs, Brian Hobbs, Particia Hobbs, Lilly Hobbs, Hunt Hobbs, Gracie Hobbs, John Hennen, Wade Hobbs, Jessica Jefferson and Jamie Jefferson; and her great grandchildren, Khloe Hobbs and Kaleb Hobbs.

Per the current health situation and mandate of the Hamilton County Mayor, visitors must adhere to all CDC guidelines, including social distancing and the wearing of facial coverings for visitation and/or services.
