It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Floyd Allen Trent of Ooltewah, Tennessee, born in Spencer, Virginia, who passed away on July 21, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Trent and Marie Trent; and his sister Lily "Sissie" Turner. He is survived by: his wife Ellen Trent; his children, Kim Davidson (Billy), Clarence Trent (Debbie) of Spencer, VA and Jonathan Trent (Vanessa) of Graysville, TN; his siblings, Susie Boyd of Martinsville, VA, Zebulon "Cotton" Trent (Jennie) of Spencer, VA, Robert "Bobby" Trent (Sally) of Spencer, VA, Dean Trent of Spencer, VA and W. G. Trent of Spencer, VA; and his grandchildren, Brooke Davidson, Sarah Slocum, Chloe Davidson, Billy Davidson Jr. and Michael Davidson. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
