He was predeceased by: his wife Carolyn Jean Ray. He is survived by: his daughter Staci Leigh Miller (Brett) of Ooltewah; and his siblings, Deanna Crumb of Chattanooga, Joseph Ray (Betty), Ooltewah Ray and Wendell Ray (Linda). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
