It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carrie Irene Stone of Ooltewah, Tennessee, who passed away on May 22, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Gil Stone; her parents, Joe Tenpenny and Mattie Mae Tenpenny; her siblings, Thomas Tenpenny (Dot), Joe Tenpenny (Lucy), Martha Glandon and Dorris Tenpenny; and her nephew Tommy Tenpenny.
She is survived by: her daughters, Rebecca Evatt (Michael) and Caroline Morrow (Hugh); her brother Wayne Tenpenny (Carlene); her brother-in-law Jack Glandon; her grandchildren, Jordan Evatt (Carrie), Tyler Evatt (Paige), Sarah Crabtree (Max), Carly Moss (Doug), Meredith Brooks (Jay) and Hannah Morrow; and her great grandchildren, Tate Evatt, Stone Evatt, Jay Brooks, Liza Brooks, Lolly Brooks, Izzy Moss and Maddie Moss.
