He is survived by: his wife Ginny Reardon; his parents, Hal Merchant (Joy Anderson) and Beth Thompson Cristy; his sister Rani Hammond (Troy); and his children, Kayla Hammond and Cassidy Hammond. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
