It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Dolores McDougall of Ooltewah, Tennessee, who passed away on November 5, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husbands, Dr. Melvin T Mooney Jr. and Ian McDougall; her son Douglas L Mooney; and her parents, Clinton Mench and Nina Mench.

She is survived by: her children, Melvin T Mooney III and Juliann Mooney Callais; her grandchildren, Jamie, Jessica and Lex; her great grandchildren, Allyson, Noah, Ava, Owen, Camdynn, Cayde and Ariel; her brother Paul D Mench; and her nephew Michael Mench.

Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Brainerd Presbyterian (1624 Jenkins Rd, Chattanooga, TN 37421). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
