It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alvin Petty (Ooltewah, Tennessee), who passed away on December 27, 2019, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Marla; his sons, Douglas, Jason and Joshua (Vanessa); his grandchildren, Bailey, Addyson, Ashlyn and Robin; his siblings, Marie Neeley, Evelyn Rogers (Donnie), Mary Sanders (Ronnie), Linda Moore (John), Lynn West, Brenda Doty (Chuck), Lois Pell (Eli), Edward Petty (Brenda), Melvin Petty (Denise) and Lewis Petty; and his siblings-in-law, Randa Mertens and Dean Mertens (Rita). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
