She was predeceased by: her parents, Nellie Sallee Christian and Tolbert Payten Christian; her husband Walter Brown Jr.; and her children, Fay Brown, Steve and Glenn Brown.

She is survived by: her son Russell Brown (Michelle); her daughter-in-law Lisa Brown; her grandchildren, Stacey Brown (Haylee) and Heather Coates (Wayne); and her great grandchildren, Caleb Coates, Mady Coates and Isaac Brown.
