It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William A. Bowling of Oneida, Tennessee, who passed away on August 5, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harrison Bowling and Flora Bowling (Washam); his brothers, Harrison Bowling Jr. and Ben Bailey Bowling; and his nieces and nephews, Rogetta Chitwood, Dennis Jeffers, Ann Bowling, Joyce Bowling, Leonard Keeton, Claude Jeffers (Iris), James Jeffers (Faye), Christine Walker (Sherman), Mary Walker (Stanley) and Elizabeth Freels (Dale).
He is survived by: his wife Vivian Jeffers; his daughter Sherri McCloud (Bill); his granddaughters, Brittney Pettit and Jillian Carroll; his great grandchild Jerra Pettit; his sisters, Jo Ann Chitwood and Joyce Keeton; and his nieces and nephews, Rick Keeton, Debbie Reagan, Harris Keeton, Milton Bowling, Pam Rhody, Marcia Claiborne, Lee Ann Seabolt, Keith Jeffers, Ronnie Jeffers, Joe Walker, Ranae Gibson, Nancy Hudson, Wade Walker, David Walker, Karen Fritts, Martha Walker, Peggy Bruce, Kathy Stooksbury, Gerald Jeffers, Patricia Terry and Velma Lowe.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in William's name to the First Baptist Church of Oneida.
