Hancock; her daughters, Marilyn Acres, Sheila Jo and Lila Jill Hancock; her parents-in-law, Obie J. and Hazel Payne Hancock; and her siblings, Maxine Terry, Judy Smith, Velma Walker Caldwell, Justeen Phillips, Leda Faye Burress and Grover Terry.
She is survived by: her husband R. O. Slaven; her children, Matilda Thompson and Mark Hancock; her son-in-law Rob Acres; her grandchildren, Dr. Caleb Thompson (Misty), Erin Laxton (Michael) and Quentin Acres; and her great grandchildren, Monroe, Lyla, Lincoln Thompson, Miles, Marron, Elden and Elias Laxton. She is also survived by several other family members and friends.
