He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Chambers and Laura Collins Chambers; his wife Mertie Phillips Chambers; his siblings, Clifton Chambers, Jetta Faye Chambers and Eva Litton; his parents-in-law, Ulyses and Margaret West Phillips; and his siblings-in-law, Dillard Phillips, Boyd Phillips, Willard Phillips, Ruben Phillips, Odie Phillips, Gerthia Phillips, Leora Acres and Cora Chitwood.
He is survived by: his daughter Suetta Schmitt (Jeff); his grandchildren, Wade Young (Cassie), Ben Schmitt (Tina), Tina Stewart and Heather Stewart; his great grandchildren, Kendra Schmitt, Kera VanRees (Ethan) and Katie Schmitt; his great great grandchildren, Eugene Schmitt, Caleb Schmitt, Mason Schmitt and BuckLee VanRees; his cousin Eustace Collins (Sharon); his friend Dorothy Smith; his siblings, Colletta Chitwood (Cecil) and Bradford Chambers; and his sister-in-law Devorah Lovett. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family members and countless friends.
