He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Norris and Ada Byrd Norris; his former wife Talitha Carroll Norris; his children, Mary Ann and Jimmy Norris; his wife Dorothy Valentine Hall Norris; his siblings, Inman Norris, Johnny Norris, Manuel Norris and Gladys Jeffers; and his granddaughter Chloe Norris.
He is survived by: his children, Ricky Norris, Pearlie Jean Morrell, Stevie Norris (Nelda), Larry Norris (Charlotte), Danny Norris (Andrea), David Norris (Etta), George Norris (Alice) and Charles Jeffers (Sue); and his sisters, Hattie Henry, Louise Carroll, Anna-Mae Grider and Wanda Dean. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren; as well as nieces, nephews, others relatives and friends.
