He was predeceased by: his parents, Alford Smith and Elva Smith; and his siblings, Everett, Claude, Lonnie, Clay of Leon, JD, Herbert, Ralph, Archie, Ruth, Edna and Mildred.
He is survived by: his wife Weltha Smith; his brother Arvilee Smith; his children, Sheri Elliott, Sheila Johnson (John) and Doug Smith (Shelby); his grandchildren, Brittney, Corey, Logan, Holly and Heather; and his great grandchildren, Corey, Jr., Bailey, Brantley, Aubrey, Brooklyn, Kara, Zaygan, Tessleigh, Octavia and Zaltana. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
