He was predeceased by: his parents, Dilmon Lawson and Della Lawson; his son Michael Lawson; and his siblings, Felin Lawson, Segal Lawson, Virgil Lawson, Junior Lawson, Clifton Lawson, Lonnie Lawson, Clark Lawson, Voyd Lawson, Dessie Lawson, Nellie Lawson, Imogene Crowley and Barbara Strunk.
He is survived by: his children, Brad Lawson (Amanda) of Oliver Springs and Michelle Ray (Chris) of Oliver Springs; his siblings, Gary Lawson (Wanda) of Huntsville, Rosalee Lawson of Huntsville and Dixie Pyles of Oak Ridge; and his grandchildren, Isaiah Ray, Markus Lawson, Wesley Lawson, Aubrey Ray, Dalton Lawson and Lexi Lawson. He is also survived by friends; and his wonderful caregivers and wonderful friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home (18641 Alberta St, Oneida, TN 37841). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
