She was predeceased by: her parents, Will J Miller and Ellen Burk Miller; her husband Luther F. Phillips; her siblings, Hester Kidd (Aunton), Laura Boyatt (Boyce), Elizabeth Harris (Ray), Eva Payne (Kenneth) and Lenord F. Miller (Louise); and her brother-in-law Robert Perry.
She is survived by: her children, Denise P. Terry (Greg) of Memphis and Darren M. Phillips (Nikki) of Oneida; her grandchildren, Jordan Terry (Nicole) of Memphis, Jarrod Terry (Amber) of Memphis, Haleigh Phillips Wright (Dakota) and Jon Keeton (Haley) of Knoxville; her great grandchildren, Davis Terry, Kade, Ellie Terry, Heavenleigh and Quinceigh Wright; and her siblings, Lillard Miller (Dorla) and Juanita Perry. She is also survived by other family members and friends.

Even after Alzheimer's had dimmed her memory, she could still be heard singing the hymns she loved word for word.
