It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lorene Daugherty of Oneida, Tennessee, who passed away on October 10, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Strunk and Alpha Braden Strunk; her husband Roy Lee Daugherty; her son Nick Daugherty; her stepmother Ruby Duncan Braden; and her grandmother Dicie Strunk.
She is survived by: her children, Vicky Poindexter (Arnold) of Somerset, KY, Judy Thomas (Mike) of Winfield, TN, Ann Mansfield (Phillip) of Oneida, TN, Joe Daugherty (Mary) of Oneida, TN and Stacy Daugherty of Oneida, TN; her siblings, Gayla Braden, Ramona Braden of Winfield, TN, Gwena Massengale (Elbert) of Calhoun, GA, Darrell Braden (Diane) of Walton, KY, Dale Braden of Cypress, TX and Layton Braden of Lebanon, TN; and her close friend Betty Marlar. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren.
