He was predeceased by: his parents, Cornelius Sexton and Vilda "Bill" Slaven Sexton; his wife Vivian Phillips Sexton; his brother Phillip Fenton Sexton; and his aunt Rose Marie "Kelo" Sexton.
He is survived by: his sons, Jonathan Craig Sexton (Tamera) and Matthew Trae Sexton (Sarah); his grandchildren, Hunter Cole Sexton, Jaxon Craig Sexton, Zachariah Trae Sexton, Amelia Brae Sexton and Avian Larae Sexton; and his sisters, Patricia Roberts (Ron), Marsha Barnes (Dean) and Janet Yancey (Sammy). He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
