He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Sexton and Dottie Smith Sexton; his wife Rebecca Marlow; his stepdaughter Tracy Hughes; and his brother Roy Denver Sexton.
He is survived by: his children, Monica Shoopman (Christian) of Oneida and Jaycee LaRue Sexton; his stepson Derrick Hughes; his siblings, Edford Sexton (Debbie) and Delissia Hamby; his mother-in-law Mary Marlow; and his close friend Rhonda LaRue. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, family and friends.
