Chambers; his stepfather Luke Lowe; his grandparents, Virgil, Rebecca Bowling Kennedy, Joe and Laura Collins Chambers; his sister Bessie Kay Lowe; the mother of his children Joan Byrd Kennedy Sexton; his son-in-law Donald "Donnie" Ellis; and his brothers-in-law, Donald Ford and Clifton Ward.
He is survived by: his children, Kendall Lee Kennedy (Warren Cates) of Lafayette, GA and Rebecca "Becky" Ellis of Oneida; his grandchildren, Donald "D. J." Ellis of Oneida, Amanda Ellis of Oneida and Kendra Ellison; and his siblings, Lillian Ward of Jacksboro, Virgie Ford of Norma and Jerry Lowe of Chatsworth, GA. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
