She was predeceased by: her husband Rev. Orey Ernest Owens; her sons, Orey Ernest Owens, Jr. and Timothy David Owens; her parents, Tom Anderson and Ruby Human Anderson Guffey; her stepfather George Guffey; and her siblings, Thomas, Amos Anderson, Bill Guffey, Martha Anderson Pennick and Barbara Guffey Tucker.
She is survived by: her children, Joyce Foster (Paul) of Knoxville and Jeff Owens (Jamie) of Oneida, TN; her daughter-in-law Zena Owens; her close friends, Judy West and Angie Perkins; and her caregiver Anita Muse. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
