She was predeceased by: her parents, Lola Slaven and Andrew Slaven; her husbands, James Neal and Lawrence Hicks; her children, Jerry and Alice Neal; and her siblings, Veda (Robert Watson), Jo Ward, Cleo Slaven, Cletus Slaven, Lonney Slaven and Catherine Collins.
She is survived by: her siblings, Kenneth Slaven, Beatrice and Ann; her children, Thelma Neal, Sue (Scott Garrett), Tony Neal, Bonnie Lay and Sylvia (Danny Sexton); and her grandchildren, Johnny Washam, Charles E. Washam Jr., Melissa Jones, Christopher Washam, Angela Garrett, Natasha Munoz (Caleb), Zachary Garrett (JaKayla), Danny Lay (Whitney), Chelsea Worley (Colby), Timmy Neal (Aleisha), Amber Jeffers (Jake) and Tiffany Neal. She is also survived by grandkids and many other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 16th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home (18641 Alberta St, Oneida, TN 37841). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 16th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
