She was predeceased by: her parents, Laford Massengale and Birdie Ellen Jeffers Massengale; and her siblings, Clifford, Clifton Massengale, Elsie, Delsie Chambers, Ardella, Rosie Jane Cook, Macil Murrell and Aneda Thrasher.
She is survived by: her sister Myrtle Midge Carson; her sister-in-law Betty Massengale of Petros; and her nieces and nephews, Starlet, Pamela, Keith, Brian Mark, Deborah, Ellen, Crystal, Bill, Eric and James. She is also survived by numerous great nieces and great nephews, and other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home (18641 Alberta St, Oneida, TN 37841). The lying in state was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Riverview Missionary Baptist Church. A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
