She was predeceased by: her parents, Able Ellis, Sr. and Mary Ellen Elizabeth Smith; her husband Leland Stanley; her children, Ronnie Keith Stanley and Patricia Ann Stanley; her siblings, Clifford Harold Ellis, James Matthew Ellis, William Edward Ellis, Able Ellis Jr. and Mildred Hester Ellis Priest; and her parents-in-law, Reuben "Rube" and Bertha Stanley.

She is survived by: her children, Philip Duane Stanley Sr., Carolyn Halburnt and Sue Newport; her brother Lawrence Lee Ellis; and her nieces and nephews, Larry Kenneth Stanley, Gerald Duncan, Dale Duncan, Sonny Stanley, Johnathon Rutherford, Steve Posey, Scott Posey, Karen Terry, Zora Marlow, Gina Rutherford and Becky Chitwood.
