He was predeceased by: his parents, John Smiley Silcox and Thelma Ruth Newport-Silcox; his siblings, Homer Paul Silcox, Dewayne Russell Silcox and Christine Shoemaker; his brothers-in-law, Hoyal Hutson, Therman Johnson and Buster Shoemaker; and his close friend John Stephens (Jan).
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ann Silcox; his sons, Donald Derrick Silcox and Daniel Ray Silcox (Damara Parton); his granddaughters, Journee, Kamara and Kyree; his sisters, Trula Johnson and Phyllis Hutson; and his close friend Wayne Lowe. He is also survived by sister; many other relatives and friends.
