He was predeceased by: his parents, Delbert Ellis and Laura Ellis; his wives, Burnell and Elizabeth Ellis; and his siblings, Clifford, Harold Ellis, Evelyn Ellis and Vergie McCoy.
He is survived by: his daughter Dora (Moses); his grandson Justin Ogles (Emilee); his siblings, Hazel Busicnki, Nora Phillips, Onvie Ellis and Tilvis Ellis (Evelyn); and his friend Charles Bond. He is also survived by nieces and nephews as well as other relatives and friends.
The family asks that donations be made to Highpoint Baptist Church (2593 Coopertown Road, Oneida, TN 37841) in lieu of flowers.
