He was predeceased by: his parents, Coleman Madden and Arite Phillips Madden; his brother Donald Madden; his close friend Bertie Stephens; and his sister-in-law Donna Madden.
He is survived by: his siblings, Barbara Garrett (Pat), Mary Lou Thomas Blevins (Steve), Ronnie Madden (Brenda) and Mike Madden; his children, Reshanda Harness, Crystal Collins, Betsy Newberry, Phillip Collins and Jessica Graves; and his close friend Bob West. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild, several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
